John L. Jackson, Jr. is the Walter H. Annenberg Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. He also is the Richard Perry University Professor with appointments in Africana studies, anthropology, communication, and education. Jackson was previously dean of Penn's School of Social Policy & Practice.
