A British anthropologist, Jonathan Webber is a professor at the Institute of European Studies at Jagiellonian University. Until 2011 he was the UNESCO Chair in Jewish and Interfaith Studies at the University of Birmingham and vice-chairman of the Institute for Polish-Jewish Studies. He holds a D.Phil. in social anthropology from Oxford University.
