Kaiei Maesaka is a first-year student majoring in international legal studies at Sophia University. Having lived in Japan, the United States, and Brazil, he has gained an understanding of the importance of being a global citizen and the significance of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. His passion for tackling global issues through action in discourse is apparent as he actively contributes to the Sophia Refugee Support Group, where he serves as a leader. Kaiei is a member of the Japanese Delegation to the National Model United Nations New York 2024. He is a member of the IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows Program 2024 cohort.
