Rev. Michael Calabria, O.F.M. is a Franciscan friar of Holy Name Province and a chaplain-in-residence at Georgetown University. After ordination he taught Arabic and Islamic Studies at St. Bonaventure University from 2003 to 2012, and he is currently pursuing his doctorate in Qur'anic Studies with the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He has a B.A. in Near Eastern Studies from John Hopkins University, M.A. in Egyptology from Brown University, a Master's of Library Science degree from Columbia University, and an M.A. and M.Div.from Washington Theological Union.
