The Rev. Stephen G. Anyenda is
the CEO of the Coast Interfaith Council of Clerics (CICC) in Kenya, an
organization that seeks to build peace through interfaith and community
approaches. He is also a pastor at Nyali Baptist Church in Mombasa, Kenya. He
has been a pastor for 15 years and active in CICC for five years. He has held
various board positions and currently chairs the Baptist Convention of Kenya’s Electoral
Council. Rev. Anyenda holds a Ph.D. and Master of Theology degree from the
International Faith Theological Seminary and University College, a bachelor’s degree in Bible and Theology from the International Institute for Christian Growth and
World Missions, and a Diploma of Theology from the International Baptist
Theological College of East Africa.
