Father Thomas F. Stransky, C.S.P., is a retired rector of the Tantur Ecumenical Institute for Theological Studies. Beginning in 1960, he was one of the original staff members of the Secretariat for the Promotion of Christian Unity. He served as president of the Paulist Fathers from 1970 to 1978.
