A group of Senegalese religious leaders, accompanied by a representative of the Senegalese Ministry of Health and Social Action, visited Morocco from November 16-21, 2014. WFDD helped organize the visit with the goal of information exchange about family health and family planning programs, and especially the involvement of religious leaders in designing, communicating about, and executing these programs. Many conversations focused on the themes of women’s rights, youth education, Islam’s views on family planning, and the importance of interreligious work in their efforts. This report is a summary of the meetings in Morocco.
