Georgetown University's Healy Hall Gates

Street parking around Georgetown University is limited and strictly monitored, with spots available for two hours unless you have a Zone 2 residential permit issued by the District of Columbia. A limited number of metered spaces are available on Reservoir Road, 37th Street, and Prospect Street.

A limited number of daily parking spaces are available in the Southwest Garage; visitor parking rates are applicable Monday through Saturday. The Southwest Garage can be reached by entering campus from Canal Road, via M Street. Visitors should use 3611 Canal Road NW as the address when mapping directions using GPS.

From DC: Drive west on M Street, which becomes Canal Road after the Key Bridge. Turn right at the sign for Georgetown University, and enter the garage through the second entrance on the right.

From VA: Cross the Key Bridge and turn left onto M Street, which becomes Canal Road. Turn right at the sign for Georgetown University, and enter the garage through the second entrance on the right.

From MD: Drive south on Wisconsin Avenue and turn right onto M Street. Drive past the Key Bridge, where M Street becomes Canal Road. Turn right at the sign for Georgetown University, and enter the garage through the second entrance on the right.

Georgetown University runs shuttles to both the Rosslyn (Silver/Orange/Blue lines) and Dupont Circle (Red line) metro stations:

Rosslyn: Exiting the station, turn left and walk one block north to the GUTS stop - a shared stop with the DC Circulator. On campus, the GUTS stop is on the north side of the McDonough Bus Turnaround.

Dupont Circle: At the Q St exit, turn left and walk 1 block south on 20th street to the GUTS stop at the corner of 20th St NW and Massachusetts Ave NW. On campus, the GUTS bus stop is on the east side of the McDonough Bus Turnaround.

Georgetown University is also a 20-25 minute walk from Rosslyn station. Simply exit the metro station, turn left for half a block then right on 19th Street; one block later, turn left on N Lynn Street, and take the sidewalk across the Key Bridge. When you reach M Street, cross to the north side and continue 3 blocks up 34rd St NW. Turn left at O Street NW and walk 4 blocks to the main gates.

From Southwest Garage: Walk uphill on Library Walk toward the main gates of the University, located at 37th and O Streets. Turn left at Healy Hall (the large gothic building located directly across from the front gates) and continue down the sidewalk past the statue and toward Copley Hall, the building located immediately to the left. The entrance to Copley Formal Lounge is at the far end of the building and up a small staircase, adjacent to Red Square, an open brick plaza.

From Main Gates: Follow the diagonal sidewalk across the front lawn. The entrance to Copley Formal Lounge is located at the end of the walkway on the left-hand side. There is a small staircase leading up to the door on the side of Copley Hall, directly adjacent to Red Square, an open brick plaza.

From Southwest Garage: Exit Southwest Garage and walk up the hill to the left of the football field. The Hariri Building is at the far end of the field. Turn right and walk in the main door to Hariri.

From Main Gates: Follow the diagonal sidewalk across the Front Lawn. Walk through Red Square, an open brick plaza, and up a short flight of stairs. Continue to walk straight ahead, passing Reiss Science Building, and proceed up the stairs to the Leavey Center on the left. From the doors of the Leavey Center, walk to the left, past the Uncommon Grounds coffee shop, and through Sellinger Lounge. Turn right and enter the double doors. Near the end of the hall, walk through the door located to the left and across the patio into the 2nd floor of the Hariri Building. Fisher Colloquium is located in the center of the building on the 4th floor. Lohrfink Auditorium is located on the 2rd floor, to the far left of the patio entrance.

From Southwest Garage: Exit Southwest Garage and walk uphill on Library Walk toward the main gates of the University. Turn left towards Healy Hall as you approach Lauinger Library. Enter Healy Hall through the first entrance on the left side of the building. Go up a short flight of stairs and turn left to find the elevator. Take the elevator to the third floor and turn right to reach Riggs. Alternatively, continue up the stairs to the third floor and Riggs will be on your immediate right.

From Main Gates: Walk straight ahead and enter Healy Hall. Turn left and go to the end of the hall. Turn right for the elevator and take the elevator to the third floor. Turn right to reach Riggs. Alternatively, take the stairs at the end of the hallway to the third floor.

From Southwest Garage: Exit Southwest Garage and walk uphill on Library Walk. Turn left at Healy Hall and follow the path until you reach Red Square, an open brick plaza. Enter the Bunn Intercultural Center (ICC), the red brick building in the middle of the square, and walk to the end of the galleria. Walk down the stairs to the right to reach the auditorium. There are also elevators located in the back of the galleria and to the immediate left of the front doors to the building. The auditorium is located on the second floor.

From Main Gates: Follow the diagonal path to the right until you reach Red Square. Enter the Bunn Intercultural Center (ICC), the red brick building in the middle of the square, and walk to the end of the galleria. Walk down the stairs to the right to reach the auditorium.
