The World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD) supported the research conducting in Sri Lanka on COVID-19, which included quantitative and qualitative components. The objective of the qualitative study is to identify features of the community responses and their impact linked to the COVID-19 emergencies in Sri Lanka. To gather insights, 25 Focus group discussions were carried out with general population groups representing all 25 districts in Sri Lanka. Another three Focus Group Discussions were carried out with selected individuals who identified as community leaders representing the Urban, Rural, and Estate sectors of the country. Two key Informant Interviews were conducted with the representatives from identified stakeholders who were involved in the pandemic preparedness and response. This report summarizes the results and provides a brief analysis of findings.
