World Faiths Development Dialogue, USAID, UNICEF, and the US Fund for UNICEF organized a one-day consultation on October 10, 2013 at Georgetown University. The conference focused on the "10 Promises to Our Children" initiative, facilitating collaboration between faith communities, governments, and development organizations with child and mother focused programs. The meeting provided the opportunity to share global lessons, available models and tools, and share evidence to support the implementation of key interventions. It also provided members of faith-inspired organizations an opportunity to engage with development and child health technical experts in planning and strategy development.
