Asifa Khan, a lawyer by training, co-founded the Foundation for Awareness and Civic Engagement (FACE), a not-for-profit and non-partisan civil society organization in Okara district in Punjab province, Pakistan. Her organization received a grant from a European Union (EU) funded project, Awareness with Human Actions (AHA!), for their initiative called “Social Media as a Vehicle to Mitigate Conflict and Promote Peaceful Coexistence in Covid-19 Pandemic.
