Katherine Zuk was a program associate at WFDD from 2014 to 2015. Prior to joining WFDD, Katherine worked as an International Programs intern for Eisenhower Fellowships and an academic advisor for the US State Department’s Middle East Partnership Initiative. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Temple University with thesis work on political Islam in North Africa. As a Diamond Research Scholar at Temple, she conducted fieldwork in France for her thesis. Katherine has also completed extensive language training in French and Arabic. Her research interests include the role of women in development within the Islamic world.
