Doyle Global Dialogue

The Doyle Global Dialogue (DGD), formerly the Junior Year Abroad Network (JYAN), is part of the Doyle Engaging Difference Program and has been operating since 2006, supporting 650 students in their studies abroad in 61 countries. In keeping with the Doyle program’s values to connect Georgetown students’ experiences engaging difference to the wider campus, local, and global communities, we’ve expanded the program to include all undergraduate international students studying abroad on the Hilltop and Hoyas from the Georgetown University Qatar campus, creating a truly global cohort.

DGD students write reflections and create social media content on their interreligious and intercultural experiences abroad, and they provide feedback on the reflections of their colleagues around the world.
