The event was held parallel to the Commission on the Status of Women meetings at the United Nations.

Casey, Mandaville to Speak at Middle East Conference

Berkley Center Director Shaun Casey and Senior Research Fellow Peter Mandaville will each give keynote lectures at "Religious Authority in the Middle East: Implications for U.S. Policy," a March 19 conference sponsored by the Baker Institute Center for the Middle East and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace with support from the Henry R. Luce Foundation.

Lise Morjé Howard, a faculty fellow at the Berkley Center, will participate in a panel discussion at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace titled “The UN Without the United States: UN Peacekeeping.” The event will explore how shifting global politics and a potential decline in U.S. support could reshape the future of United Nations peacekeeping operations.
