Umaira Sajjad is an undergraduate student studying computer science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). She also volunteers at HumAahang, where she is a part of HumAahang's publications team. HumAahang is a student-based initiative based at LUMS that promotes interfaith tolerance and peacebuilding in order to propagate pluralism and inclusivity. It aims to create space for dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and a counter-narrative to terrorism in Pakistan. Literally meaning "harmonious consonance," HumAahang embraces diversity in many forms while working to create a world without divisions.
