Part of the Seminar on Religion and Global Development, this event focused on the moral aspects of markets, dealing with the complex issues around religion and economics. Dr. Daniel Finn led the discussion on the role of the moral content in assessing the justice of markets in the developing world. His book The Moral Ecology of Markets: Assessing Claims about Markets and Justice (2006) explores the question, "Do the standards of morality apply in economic life?"
