Lord Carey of Clifton, former archbishop of Canterbury, marked the tenth anniversary of the World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD), a non-profit research organization housed in the Berkley Center. Lord Carey, chair of the trustees for WFDD, spoke about his long-standing commitment to poverty alleviation, international development, and interfaith dialogue that inspire the WFDD’s research agenda. Lord Carey was the co-founder of WFDD with James D. Wolfensohn, president of the World Bank from 1995 to 2005.
This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and the World Faiths Development Dialogue.
