Qarantina: A Thriller About the Reality of Life in Baghdad Today

Georgetown hosted the regional premiere of the film Qarantina. The film screening was followed by a question and answer session with the director, Oday Rasheed, moderated by Ambassador Cynthia Schneider, Distinguished Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy at Georgetown University.
This event was sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs, Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, the Department of Performing Arts, and the Mortara Center for International Studies. Qarantina was co-presented by the Global Film Initiative and is part of the Global Lens 2012 film series.
