Reflective Teaching Practices for Anti-Racist Work

Complementing the Doyle Conversations about Anti-Racism in Higher Education held in fall 2020, this spring the Doyle Engaging Difference Program invites the Georgetown University community to participate in a second series of conversations to share strategies and tools around anti-racist approaches to our work at Georgetown. Join us for conversations featuring faculty, staff, and students, who will share insights from their experiences doing anti-racist work with colleagues and classmates.

  • February 18, 2021: Anti-Racist Work in Our Departments and Curriculum
  • March 15, 2021: Community Building and Facilitation for Anti-Racism
  • April 12, 2021: Reflective Teaching Practices for Anti-Racist Work

We appreciate the continuity created when people participate in all three conversations, but if your schedule does not allow for that, please join us for whatever portions you are able. All sessions will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST.

This conversation series is sponsored by Georgetown University's Doyle Engaging Difference Program, jointly administered by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, and the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS).
