As part of the Middle East Studies Association's fifty-sixth annual meeting, Senior Fellow Jocelyne Cesari chaired an December 1 interdisciplinary roundtable discussion on the future of political Islam. Participants examined Islamic populism in different countries of the world, including Egypt, Turkey, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
