Abdulaziz is a computer technician and student studying English at the elementary level at the Jesuit Refugee Service Higher Education Center in Amman, Jordan. Originally from Sudan, Abdulaziz received a bachelor's degree in physics from the Sudan University of Science and Technology. He previously worked repairing computers before fleeing the civil war in Darfur, and in Amman he has worked in a computer network center. He is currently waiting for his resettlement interview with UNHCR. If selected for resettlement in a Western country, Abdulaziz plans to pursue a master's degree in physics, with a specialization in nuclear or medical physics. He hopes to return to Sudan and establish education and medical centers.
