Mr. Abdulhamid Sakar is the current team leader of Kenya Muslim Youth Alliance (KMYA), a national Muslim youth network formed in 2002. The vision of KMYA is to identify and nurture the potential of Muslim youth and transform it to positive contribution in the society. Mr. Sakar has over 16 years of professional experience in civil society, particularly in youth development. He worked as finance officer for KMYA before being promoted to programs manager. He has knowledge in advocacy, community mobilization, proposal development, program implementation, and resource mobilization. Mr. Sakar is trained in Business Management from Zanzibar University.
