Akilha D’Rozario is the director of Mirpur Agricultural Workshop and Training School (MAWTS) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A Trust of Caritas, MAWTS was founded in 1976 in response to a demand for technical-vocational schools after Bangladesh's war of independence from Pakistan. Before joining MAWTS in 2011, D'Rozario worked directly for Caritas, first in the Chittagong Regional Office as an accountant and regional director and then in the national office as director for disaster management and development. He has a master's degree in Accounting.
