Alan Cross is lead pastor at Petaluma Valley Baptist Church in Petaluma, California. He previously pastored for many years in Montgomery, Alabama. He is the author of When Heaven and Earth Collide: Racism, Southern Evangelicals, and the Better Way of Jesus (2014). He is currently pursuing a doctorate at Fuller Theological Seminary, with a focus on how evangelicals view immigrants and refugees.
