Dr. Alana Harris is director of liberal arts and reader in modern British social, cultural and gender history at King's College London. Dr. Harris previously taught modern British and European history for over eight years at the University of Oxford. Her research interests include religious and gender identities, sexuality, feminism, ethnicity, and the modern history of London.
