Brother Aloise Ndour is the coordinator for the Multilingual
Education based on the Mother Tongue project (Education multilingues à base de
la langue maternelle, EMiLe) that seeks to introduce national languages into
the Senegalese education system. EMiLe is run through the Center for
Pedagogical Training (Centre de Formation Pédagogique, CFP), located in Mbour,
Senegal. Ndour is a member of the Congregation of the Brothers of Saint Gabriel,
which is dedicated to service through education, particularly in disadvantaged
areas.
