Aminat Kikelomo Ale is the general coordinator of He Careth Mission Foundation. She and her husband set up the organization in 1971 to provide help and support development work within their community. Aminat’s work is built around the operation of a shelter home for abandoned teenagers; orphanages; a home for the poor and abandoned elderly members of the society; education, nursing, and caring for the disabled; and Home for the Widow. She is dedicated to ensuring that every orphan is given adequate education and the widows and Aged lived a comfortable life. Besides her organizational work, she is involved in state and national welfare and relief projects; a speaker at many conferences and seminars on issues relating to the Widow, Aged, and Orphans; and is an advocate for the rights of those groups.
