Amrita Ibrahim is an assistant teaching professor who teaches introductory and upper-level courses on social media, policing, and social justice issues at the Anthropology Department at Georgetown University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of journalism, surveillance, and policing, particularly with respect to sexual assault and gender-based violence. She has a Ph.D. in anthropology from Johns Hopkins University.
