Anna Peterson is a professor in the Department of Religion at the University of Florida. Her research interests are in religion and social change, especially in Latin America; environmental and social ethics; and animal studies. Peterson's recent books include Being Animal: Beasts and Boundaries in Nature Ethics (Columbia University Press) and the co-edited volume Religion and Ecological Crisis (Routledge).
