Anne C. Richard (SFS’82) is an adjunct professor at Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) and affiliated with the Institute for the Study of International Migration (ISIM). She served as assistant secretary of state for population, refugees, and migration in the U.S. State Department from 2012 to 2017. Previously, she was vice president of government relations and advocacy for the International Rescue Committee.
