Ari Gordon is the director of U.S. Muslim-Jewish relations at the American Jewish Committee, where he leads the organization’s interreligious engagement with Muslim leadership in the United States and around the world. He is a scholar of Islamic studies and the history of interreligious relations, and for the past 20 years Gordon has also been at the forefront of Jewish bridge-building efforts with other faith groups. Gordon holds a bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University, a master's degree from Harvard Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
