Ariel Grassini, S.J., is the current president of Protgaonizar, a microfinance lender in the lower class neighborhood of San Miguel, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Grassini has been with Protagonizar since 2011 and was ordained as a Jesuit the same year, before which he received his master's degree in Philosophy and his doctorate in Theology. He has focused much of his work as a Jesuit on catechism and interacting with the popular sector through pastoral work and education.
