Babak Manouchehrifar is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research examines the dilemmas of religious coexistence in contemporary cities of difference through the comparative study of religion, secularism, and (development) planning.
