Belinda Bennet is CEO of Change Alliance, a
subsidiary of Christian Aid UK offering technical and advisory development
services. Previously, Bennet headed the South Asia operations at Christian
Aid, a leading British and Irish development agency where she managed
a staff of 90 and a budget of £11 million in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and
Sri Lanka to deliver development programs alongside 100 local partner organizations.
Over three decades of working for and with international development agencies,
national civil society and community-based organizations and citizens’ groups,
she has developed sector-leading expertise and experience in shaping and
leading inclusive development approaches. Bennet holds a master's degree in Social
Work, a M.Phil. in Clinical Psychiatric Social Work, and a Ph.D. in Social Work.
