Brian Thomas Swimme is director of the Center for the Story of the Universe and a professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon's Department of Mathematics in gravitational dynamics. Swimme co-wrote and hosted Journey of the Universe, broadcast on PBS television stations nationwide.
