Dr. Candace Lukasik is a postdoctoral research associate at the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis. She holds a Ph.D. in sociocultural anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her research focuses on transnational migration, Middle Eastern minorities, racialization, and U.S. empire.
