Cecilia N. Kavita is currently the programs coordinator with the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society Kenya. She holds an executive master’s in organizational development, a master’s in counseling psychology both from the United States International University (USIU) and a bachelor’s of theology from Scott University. Prior to joining HIAS, Cecilia served at USIU as a counseling psychologist and at World Vision as a psychosocial and protection program manager. Her work at HIAS is multifaceted and includes supporting the urban refugee communities of Nairobi as well as leading a host of management activities: donor and strategic partner’s liaisons, program’s planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation, quality assurance and accuracy of program donor reports, program audits.
