Chinyama is an English and physics professor at St. Ignatius Loyola Secondary School (Escola Secundária Inácio de Loyola, ESIL) in Tete, Mozambique, a Jesuit secondary school that primarily serves disadvantaged rural students. Chinyama is from Angonia, a district in Tete Province. He taught at various public schools for 10 years before coming to ESIL.
