Chris Kalaitzidis (G'25) holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University’s Department of Theology and Religious Studies and has experience in policy-oriented research, editorial production, and multistakeholder coordination. He served in multiple appointments as a graduate research fellow at Georgetown's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs. He worked on the Religion and the Crisis of Displaced Persons project (2020 and 2021), developing analysis from a wide range of academic and policy sources and conducting primary interviews with humanitarian practitioners, faith leaders, and policymakers to support public-facing research outputs on the center’s platforms. In 2021, he also served as a preceptor for the Doyle Undergraduate Fellows, mentoring researchers and facilitating seminars on projects examining religion, ethics, and public life. He also co-managed the Berkley Forum in 2019, commissioning essays and coordinating revisions and approvals within a high-volume publication workflow. He served as assistant editor on The Oxford Handbook of Political Theology (2018), managing revisions with chapter authors and providing substantive editorial review for structure, clarity, and citation integrity to publication standards.
