Christine Evans is an associate professor in the Department of Theater and Performing Arts at Georgetown University. Evans served as Briggs-Copeland Lecturer on English at Harvard University from 2007 to 2012, where she inaugurated the now-annual Harvard Playwrights' Festival with Gideon Lester. She joined the Georgetown Department of Performing Arts faculty in 2012. Evans holds a Ph.D. in theatre and MFA in playwriting and screenwriting from Brown University.
