Christopher
Tollefsen is a professor of philosophy at the University of South Carolina. His
research interests include natural law ethics, practical ethics, and the ethics of false assertion. He has twice been a visiting fellow in the James Madison
Program at Princeton University. He is the author, co-author, or editor of six
books, including most recently Lying and Christian Ethics (2014), and is
a frequent contributor to Public Discourse. Tollefson received his Ph.D.
from Emory Univeristy in 1995.
