The Ukraine War Is Nihilism Made Systemic

Constantin Sigov, Ukrainian philosopher and director of the European Center at the University of Kyiv, has decided to stay in Ukraine as a witness. In this interview, he reflects on the presence and role of nihilism in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Constantin Sigov is a professor of philosophy and religious studies at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kiev, and he also directs the Center of European Humanities Research. His writings center on the history of philosophical and theological ideas.
