David is a volunteer medic and a Portuguese professor at St. Ignatius Loyola Secondary School (Escola Secundária Inácio de Loyola, ESIL) in Tete, Mozambique, a Jesuit secondary school that primarily serves disadvantaged rural students. Originally from Portugal, David intends to complete a final year of training to become a general practice doctor.
