Bishop David J. Malloy is chairman of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Committee on International Justice and Peace. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1983, and was ordained and installed as the ninth bishop of the Diocese of Rockford, IL in 2012. Previously, he served a five year term as general secretary of USCCB.
