David Schickler is the author of the bestselling story collection Kissing in Manhattan (2001) and the novel Sweet and Vicious (2004). He has been published by Zoetrope, Tin House, and the New Yorker (he was an inaugural New Yorker debut fiction pick), among others. He is the co-creator (with Jonathan Tropper) and executive producer of the Cinemax action series Banshee, which premiered earlier this year and is now in filming its second season.
