Edward W. Scott is a businessman and former senior U.S. government official who has been involved with numerous philanthropic initiatives. Scott founded and was board chair of the Center for Global Development until 2014; he continues to serve on the board's executive committee. Scott also helped establish the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty in 2008.
