Eileen Connolly is a professor of politics and director of the Ireland India Institute at Dublin City University. Her research has focused on gender and politics, political representation (particularly of women), and post-conflict reconstruction. Connolly has worked with Irish Aid, the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs' development agency, on a number of research projects.
