Eleanor R. Dionisio is the associate director of the John J. Carroll Institute on Church and Social Issues (JJCICSI) and the research associate for JJCICSI’s Church and Society Program. She edited the 2011 JJCICSI publication Becoming a Church of the Poor: Philippine Catholicism after the Second Plenary Council. She also wrote a chapter on “Catholic Electoral Partisanship in the Philippines: A Threat to Religious Pluralism” in the 2016 Globethics publication Religion, Public Policy, and Social Transformation in Southeast Asia: Managing Religious Diversity. Her other articles have been published in the Philippine Sociological Review, Landas, World Mission, and the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
