Elin Henrysson is a development specialist with 15 years of experience in Africa who currently serves as business program director for LifeNet International, leading an international team to build the capacity of a network of 45+ faith-based clinics. Swedish by citizenship, she is the child of missionaries and UN professionals and grew up in Africa. She has conducted and published research on women's property rights in Kenya and worked for Habitat for Humanity and the International Land Coalition in Rome, Italy. She has held program management positions in peace-building organizations in the United Kingdom and Burundi, writing a number of articles for Quaker publications while working at a local peacebuilding NGO in Burundi. Henrysson completed an undergraduate degree in International Relations and French from Wheaton College and a master’s degree in Anthropology, Law and Society at the London School of Economics.
