Elise Anderson is the senior program officer for research and advocacy at the Uyghur Human Rights Project, where she works on research documenting abuses of the human rights of Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims in the Uyghur Region and develops advocacy campaigns with partners around the globe. Her research and writing have appeared in academic and public-facing publications. She has provided expert testimony before the Canadian House of Commons and Uyghur Tribunal, and previously worked as a Liu Xiaobo Fellow at the Congressional-Executive Commission on China.
